Mission of QEC

To continuously enhance the quality of education and training by implementing effective quality assurance practices, promoting excellence in teaching and learning, fostering innovation in curriculum design, and ensuring compliance with international standards. Our aim is to prepare health professionals who are well-equipped to meet national and global healthcare challenges through continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Objectives of QEC

To gather data through feedback forms from the respective departments.
To conduct training on a regular basis for the Program & Assessment teams in order to generate awareness regarding the Self-Assessment process.
To assess the current status of educational provision at departmental level by holding meetings with the Program and Assessment teams.
To critically examine the data in consultation with the Assessment Team and Head of the department and also formulating the recommendations.
To follow the process of the corrective actions highlighted by the Assessment team in Self-Assessment Report (SARs) of the respective department.
To affirm whether, the curriculum, subject and staff development, research and other scholarly activities are conducted as per HEC criteria.
To acquire membership of National/International agencies working in the domain of quality assurance in higher education.
To make sure the higher education institute (HEI) abides by the rules and regulations set by HEC.
